Home Office Delays

The Home Office is experiencing delays in process visa applications to the UK.

Due to the current crisis in the Ukraine the Home Office is unable to process visa applications within the advised time frame.

The Home Office has confirmed that it has allocated the majority of its workforce towards the Ukrainian crisis in order to assist those applying to enter the UK as a result of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Applicants that have applied for entry clearance to the UK as far back as September 2021 have yet to receive an outcome. These applicants have been advised by the Home Office following several complaints, that due to the crisis in Ukraine they must wait longer before receiving an outcome.

Many applicants have expressed their dissatisfaction due to these delays, as even those that have paid a premium fast track fee have no other option but to wait beyond the 30 working days which they have paid for in order to have their visas processed quicker. As many applicants have paid an additional fee to have their visas processed quicker but are unable to obtain an outcome within the recommended time, many applicants have been left out of pocket with no refund for the fast track option they have paid for.

These applicants continue to wait for an outcome.
